Founded in 1982, FlexPro is best known for its badminton rackets made in Birmingham, England.

1987

Mr. Chen A Cai – General Manager of
Taiwan New Industries Co., Ltd., wholly owns FlexPro to hold the brand for Taiwan New Industries Co., Ltd.

FlexPro offices are set up in Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

1997

In 1997, FlexPro strengthened its presence in China by hosting the 2nd Guangxi Cup in July, sponsoring the 8th National Games in October, and organising the 1st Baise Cup in December.

1998

In 1998, FLEX boosted badminton in China by sponsoring the Guangzhou City Team, the China National Junior Tournament, and senior invitational meets. It also launched the first FLEX Cup Junior Open in Fujian and held free training at Guangdong University, supporting the sport at both grassroots and professional levels.

1999

In 1999, FLEXPRO sponsored the National Directions Amateur Game and offered free training sessions. It organised major tournaments such as the Guangzhou Flex Cup and the New China Mansion Open. It shows its support for youth development and the China Youth Team’s international visit to Vietnam.

2000

In 2000, FLEXPRO hosted the FLEXPRO Cup Badminton Amateur Ranking Game and sponsored the FLEXPRO Badminton Club in Jiangsu, China. The brand also supported the China National Badminton Tournament and organized the FLEXPRO Cup edition of the national event. In May, the fourth session of the FLEXPRO Cup Amateur Badminton Tournament was successfully held.

2001

In 2001, FLEXPRO sponsored the China National Games and the China Star World Stars Tournament. It established the Guangdong FLEXPRO Club and launched the first Inner Mongolia “Flex Cup” National Invitational. It supported the 9th China-Japan-South Korea Youth Sports Exchange and held the 1st FLEXPRO Cup Amateur Game in Hunan.

2002

In 2002, FLEXPRO played a major role in global badminton by sponsoring the Thomas & Uber Cup and launching licensed products. The brand supported multiple teams, including Seychelles, China (Guizhou, Beijing, Guangzhou, Liaoning), and Hong Kong. It organised seedling training in Guangxi, hosted national and amateur tournaments, backed the Denmark–Guangxi Friendship Tournament, and served as a Grand Prix sponsor for the China Open Badminton Tournament.

2003

2003 – FLEXPRO expanded its global presence by sponsoring the Canadian Open and serving as a Six-Star Grand Prix Sponsor of the China Open under the IBF. 2002–2004: World Champion Gu Jun served as FLEXPRO ’s product image spokesperson Aug 2003: Sponsored the 5th Guangxi “Flex Amateur Cup” Feb 2003: Sponsored the Tianjin “Haosheng–FlexPro Cup” National Open Jan 2003: Sponsored the Shandong “FlexPro Cup” Amateur Tournament

2004

2004 – FLEXPRO actively promoted badminton by sponsoring the Canadian Open and Canadian World Cup Badminton Tournaments, the Hong Kong Tuen Mun District Family Fun Badminton Tournament and the Guangzhou Amateur Badminton Tournament. It supported the “FLEXPRO Cup” in Surabaya and the first “Flex Cup” in Jakarta, Indonesia. In August, the China National Badminton Team coach visited FLEXPRO .

2005

2005 – FLEXPRO sponsored the China Badminton Open and the Guangzhou school-level tournament covering primary, middle and college students. It also supported the Guangzhou Hualing Electric Badminton Team and contributed to the “Care for the Indian Tsunami-Hit Refugees” initiative through the Guangzhou Badminton Community. In May, FLEXPRO sponsored both the Qingyuan “Flex Cup” and the Guangxi “Flying Flex Cup” Amateur Open Badminton Championship.

2006

2006 – FLEXPRO expanded its grassroots and youth initiatives by sponsoring the Guangdong Provincial Teenagers Badminton Team and the Guangzhou Traditional Primary and Secondary School Tournament. It played a key role in establishing the Guangzhou FLEXPRO Badminton Club (April 11), the Qinzhou Guangxi Flying Badminton Club (April) and the Guangxi Blue Sky FLEXPRO Club (March). Additionally, FLEXPRO sponsored the first Henan Province “FLEXPRO” Amateur Badminton Competition and the sixth Nanning “FLEXPRO” Badminton Competition.

2007

2007 – FLEXPRO strengthened its international and youth outreach by sponsoring the 10th Global Chinese Badminton Invitational Tournament, the China Junior B Group Tournament, and the China Junior Badminton Classic. It also organised the Guangxi “FLEXPRO Cup” in China and extended its support abroad by sponsoring the Vietnam FLEXPRO Team.

2008

August 2008 – Sponsored the African badminton champion country, Seychelles, to participate in the Beijing Olympics

2009

2009 – FLEXPRO expanded its presence in Southeast Asia by partnering with the Indonesian Badminton Association in June and launching the “FLEXPRO Cup” Sumatra Open in July, followed by the FLEXPRO Tour Indonesia in October. That year, FLEXPRO also sponsored the Thailand Junior Badminton Open and the Vietnam National Junior Championship, reinforcing its commitment to youth development and international badminton.

2010

2010 – FLEXPRO strengthened its global footprint by opening the Vietnam FLEXPRO Store and hosting the Seychelles National Team at its headquarters. It sponsored several key tournaments, including the Leadership Cup in Hanoi, the Vietnam Taiyuan Open, the Incheon Badminton Competition and the Iran Youth Badminton Open. FLEXPRO also supported the 17th Global Chinese Badminton Invitational Tournament held in Pattaya, Thailand.

2011

2011 – FLEXPRO continued its strong support across Asia by sponsoring regional tournaments in East, West, North and South China, as well as the prestigious Asian Badminton Championships. The brand extended its reach to Malaysia by supporting the Goose Mug County-Level Tournament, the Malaysia Junior Badminton Challenge, and the Selangor State Competition. In Vietnam, FLEXPRO sponsored the National Youth Open and a tournament organised by the Taiyuan Tourism, Sports and Culture Bureau.

2012

2012 – FLEXPRO sponsored Tsinghua University’s team and backed the Seychelles National Team for the London Olympics. It served as a badminton sponsor in Seoul and hosted the U.S. Badminton Tryouts. In Vietnam, FLEXPRO sponsored the Hai Phong “FLEXPRO Cup,” the national championship, the Student Games and the Taiyuan Aidodo Tournament. The brand also supported the AirAsia “Chiang Mai Cup” Badminton Open in Thailand.

2013

2013 – FLEXPRO expanded its global presence by opening the FLEXPRO Taiwan Store and sponsoring a wide range of international badminton events. It supported the University of Nottingham Malaysia Badminton Competition, the Vietnam National Games for the Disabled and the Vietnam Championship. The brand continued its academic backing by sponsoring Taiwan Qiaoguang University and further strengthened its presence in the Middle East by sponsoring both the Iranian Badminton Team and the Iran International Challenge.

2016

2016 – FLEXPRO continued to promote competitive badminton by sponsoring a team in the CEIBS Badminton League and supporting the National Ranking Tournament in Taiwan. The brand also hosted the Badminton Heroes Competition and sponsored the prestigious Guangzhou Mayor’s Cup.

2018 – FLEXPRO strengthened its global and university-level presence by sponsoring the Hebei Provincial Team for the 2018 Challenge and signing contracts to support both the Chongqing Team and Peking University Team. Internationally, FLEXPRO sponsored the Pakistan Junior Badminton Team and the Pakistan Junior Challenge and supported the Iranian Team’s participation in the Kharkiv International Championships.

2019

2019 – FLEXPRO expanded its global footprint by signing sponsorships with the Turkish National Badminton Team and the Pakistan National Youth Team. It also sponsored major events, including the International Badminton Championships in Turkey and the Turkey Junior Badminton Championship. Additionally, FLEXPRO marked a milestone with the opening of its new office, Huilong Information Industry.
